This captivating script, about intimate relationships and global chaos, is a story about a group of women who are each effected in their own personal way by a major phenomenon that happens one night through a horrifying dream – women all over the world are mysteriously stricken with infertility and the human race is suddenly facing its last century of existence. Their personal lives and choices are all challenged, and when world government tries to take control of the situation, these women and their loved ones find themselves fighting for their lives.

Harper, a happily married mother of three, Olivia, a free spirit expecting her love life to one day just fall into place, and Ellie, a daring artist who uses her own menstrual blood to create, meet to discuss life as they worship the Great Goddess and connect with Mother Earth. Their connection with the Sacred Feminine does not keep them from connecting to the men they love, however, and they each are faced with decisions to make after this mystical dream begins to haunt them all. Their stories discuss human issues such as the uniqueness of happy marriage, the stress a lesbian couple might face when family is less than supportive, and the true meaning and purpose of sexual relationships.

Olivia’s friend Mike is never far from her side to keep things light, but when his girlfriend Zoey realizes what “the nightmare” means to her, things suddenly get darker for him. Harper’s young daughter, Wren, is also effected by the nightmare in a mysterious way. As the years go by, the world’s history unfolds and every human being is forced to make a choice about how women should be treated in every culture, all over the world.

This script (adaptable to the stage or screen) poses questions that are being asked about feminism in world culture today, with terrifying answers as long as we continue to be led by a chauvinistic patriarchal world view. It is a frightening glimpse of what could become of the human race if this predominant world view doesn’t ever change.

The author is a Wiccan priestess and Moon Mother whose work with the Sacred Feminine and the Iya Mi Yoruba Goddesses inspired this thought-provoking story about what may happen if world government’s tendency to control the inherently female power to procreate is taken to extremes.
